Vue Entertainment was the United Kingdom's third largest operator of movie theaters with 55 cinemas and 544 screens. Clarity’s partners in Vue included Boston Ventures and Legal & General Ventures.

In May of 2003, Clarity partnered with Boston Ventures and Legal & General Ventures plc to invest in Vue Entertainment. Clarity worked closely with Vue CEO, Tim Richards, and his management team on acquisitions, development of new cinemas, financing and the eventual sale of the company. During Clarity’s three-year investment in Vue, management executed its plans to enhance the business by improving operating metrics, imposing tighter cost controls, and strengthening its supplier relationships despite an industry-wide downturn in attendance. Vue was sold in June 2006 to an entity formed by Bank of Scotland and incumbent Vue management.
