Harry Bosco joins Clarity;
Clarity Partners Names Harry Bosco, Former President of Lucent Technologies' Optical Networking Group, as Special Venture Partner.

Clarity Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm that invests in the rapidly growing communications, emerging media, and related technology industries, today announced that Harry Bosco, most recently the Group President of Lucent Technologies' Optical Networking Group, will be joining Clarity as a special venture partner on October 16, 2000.

Mr. Bosco led the development of Lucent's core data networking architecture and helped develop the company's broadband networking strategy. His strong expertise and compelling track record in the converging network technology communications field contributed to solidifying Lucent's position as an industry leader and innovator. At Lucent Technologies, Bosco held the ranks of Consumer Products Chief Technical Officer, Wired Technology and Initial Production Center Vice President, President of the Network Systems Broadband Networking Unit, Chief Operating Officer for the Optical Networking Group, and Chief Technical Officer of Service Provider Networks. Prior to Lucent's spinoff from AT&T, Mr. Bosco occupied top management positions at Bell Labs and AT&T Network Systems for approximately 30 years.
