VUE Entertainment - A New Vue For Luxury Cinema
A Luxury city cinema complex is to be given a new name and a makeover. Aberdeen's Lighthouse Cinema will become a Vue cinema as part of a national scheme by owners Spean Bridge Cinemas. Vue is the new firm set up by the company to front the rebranding. By February the cinema will be refitted with Vue logos and will no longer be known as the Lighthouse. Vue says that ticket prices will not change. And it says it will offer a wider range of films - including more UK films. American firm SBC bought over the Warner Village Cinema Chain in a £250 million deal, giving them 42 cinemas in the UK.
