New Shanghai office to support local customers

Opnext, Inc., a global leader in high-performance optical components, today announced an expanded global presence with the official opening of its new China Representative Office. Located in the West Gate Tower in Shanghai, this new regional office is strategically positioned to provide business development, product introduction, and technical support functions to current and prospective customers in the China and Asia Pacific Regions.

Opnext has been distributing products to China since the company was founded in 2000. With a proven track record of superior technical design strength and rapid product development, the company has already developed key partnerships with quality distributors in China and other Asia Pacific countries. Establishing the Representative office in China will provide current, as well as prospective, customers with a single point of contact and more responsive technical and logistic support.
